Why Many Nice Donkeys? We were hoping you'd ask.

Our staff met as English graduate students during a study abroad in Ireland, where we visited the farm of Willie Daly, Ireland's last traditional matchmaker. Willie has this fantastic sign (as seen on our homepage) that says "Many Nice Donkeys," and it turns out it's true!

We want to publish work that's deeply honest, but could, at any moment, bite your hand. Show us the lay of the land, but startle us and keep us on our hooves.

Bring us your nicest donkeys, but teach them to fight back.
